UK: Apple Apartments has converted a Victorian church in Aberdeen, Scotland, into serviced apartments.
The London-based company were looking to expand to Aberdeen and offer a product for oil and gas industry professionals
Owner Billy Cowe said: “We wanted a boutique property that offered a different kind of experience in Aberdeen to differentiate from the other providers. Not only was the space great value for the price but the 19th century architecture and artistic stained glass windows were the unique selling points we were looking for.”
An Aberdonian himself, Cowe “jumped at the opportunity to transform a beautiful Victorian church into a place of comfort and relaxation, a sort of stress-free sanctuary for the overly worked corporate crowd”.
The one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments feature bespoke furniture, fully-fitted modern kitchens and preserved mosaics which decorate the walls.
