UK: Apartment operator Skene House has relaunched its Skene House Whitehall property in Aberdeen after a £320,000 refurbishment programme.

A total of 20 properties in Skene House Whitehall have been upgraded: 12 suites in the Grosvenor Terrace building have been fully upgraded and a further eight within the Esslemont Avenue and Whitehall Place properties have been refurbished.

Skene House is a family-run business which includes sister properties at Skene House Rosemount and Skene House Holburn.

Charles Skene, founder of Skene House Group, who was recently awarded with the CBE for services to business and enterprise education, said: “Repositioning Skene House Whitehall into a longer stay offering plays to its residential feel. We continue to offer the same attention to detail and service which resulted in Whitehall being the No 1 hotel on Trip Adviser for over six years running. Our personalised service creates a home-from-home for our guests.”

“The price-point we can now offer is proving compelling to a client base that has had its own challenges and pressures of late. We’ve had an encouraging start to 2018 and our longer-stay packages are proving popular, particularly from companies who are relocating personnel, those on fixed-term contracts and individuals or families working in the city on projects lasting from weeks to months,” he added.
