UAE: Bloom Properties has announced the start of construction at its Abu Dhabi Marina development in Al Bateen.
The development will feature luxury residences, serviced apartments, a hotel, cafes and restaurants. It will include 225 residential apartments, ranging from one- to four-bedroom units, a 200-room five-star hotel, 57 serviced apartments, 3,000 square metres of waterfront retail and parking spaces.
Bloom Properties, the property and lifestyle development arm of Abu Dhabi’s National Holding, has contracted Al Shafar General Contracting (ASGC) to carry out the work.
The company said: “With real estate prospects soaring in the emirate, we are proud to have played an important role in the development of the real estate market in Abu Dhabi. The rapidly-developing sector will play an increasingly important role in the economic development of the country.”
Bishoy Azmy, CEO of Al Shafar General Contracting, added: “We are happy to execute this exceptional project in a prime location in Abu Dhabi. ASGC has a track record for delivering upscale hospitality projects and we anticipate further opportunities for collaboration as the booming real estate market spurs further growth in the tourism sector.”
