France: European aparthotel brand Adagio has opened its fourth property in Toulouse, located in rue du Pont Saint-Pierre in the commercial district of Saint Cyprien.
Adagio Original Toulouse Centre La Grave has been designed by studio Didier Versavel and offers 114 apartments which can accommodate up to six people.
Local artwork is featured throughout the ground floor communal areas, including pieces by Wilo & Grove Galerie and a mural by Nuublaa in the arrival lobby. Furnishings have also been sourced locally from Basque manufacturer Alki, second-hand furniture from Selency, and kid’s furniture from Ecobirdy and Tiptoe.
The new Adagio marks the fourth aparthotel opening in Toulouse for the brand, joining another in the Saint Cyprien district as well as one property close to the Marengo neighbourhood and one in the centre of the city.
Earlier this year, Adagio revealed 11 openings across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In Q3 and Q4 2023, six more openings are scheduled in France, Africa, Italy, the UK and Germany.
At the time of the announcement, Thomas Lamson, chief development and projects officer at Adagio, said: “In addition to the eleven planned openings, [we] will introduce two new concepts: a new and totally innovative Adagio Access three-star apartment and the new Coliving Access Apartment.”
Adagio’s aparthotels are currently divided into three ranges: Adagio Original, located in the centre of major cities; Adagio Access, located in the centre of regional capitals or in the outskirts of larger cities; and the high-class brand Adagio Premium.
Edit: Adagio Original Toulouse Centre La Grave officially opened on 31 July 2023.
