UK: Property management company ALTIDO, part of living platform DoveVivo, has signed the Westminster Fire Station in London, which offers short and long-term accommodation.

ALTIDO has signed a 10-year lease for the property, which was first constructed in 1906. The rent-to-rent agreement marks the most substantial acquisition to date for the group.

The fire station had previously been renovated to provide residential apartments for sale. It offers 19 units across a mix of one, two and three-bed apartments with custom fixtures and fittings. A selection of the apartments provide views of the city skyline and Big Ben.

Available for stays from days to months, the property will become ALTIDO’s flagship London property. It joins other notable assets in the portfolio such as Glimerton House in Scotland and Galleria in Milan.

Will Parry, CEO of ALTIDO, said: “We are thrilled to be able to put this iconic, characterful property on London’s hospitality map. The building’s distinct heritage and high-spec renovation make it an entirely unique option for discerning travellers visiting the capital. We’re sure guests are going to be captivated by this icon of London’s architectural heritage.”

ALTIDO manages thousands of properties across Europe, with a diverse portfolio of apartments, townhouses, aparthotels, and serviced apartments. The company was acquired in 2022 by DoveVivo.
