UAE: The Auris Group has revealed plans to add nearly 1500 new keys by the end of 2015, including more than 500 hotel apartment units.
The company, which currently has three hotel apartment properties in its portfolio, will open two more by the end of the year, as well as two traditional hotels.
“The four new hotels join our existing portfolio of five hotels – taking the total number of hotels to nine with 2,279 keys in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, and marks a new beginning in our ambitious journey to consolidate Auris as a regional hospitality brand,” said Hatem Gasmi, managing director of Auris Group of Hotels.
“The new hotels will not only complement the growth of the region’s hotel and tourism industry, but will also offer a wider variety of accommodation and widen the choice of hospitality for tourists in the region,” he added.
Among the new properties, Auris Fakhruddin Hotel Apartments in Dubai Sports City will add 304 apartments. Scheduled to open this summer, it is currently undergoing a soft opening period. The Village Hotel Apartments will add a further 200 apartments.
Founded in Dubai in 2008, Auris employs 465 professionals in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
