Tunisia: Minor Hotels’ upscale AVANI Hotels & Resorts brand is to debut in North Africa with two properties in Tunisia.
The 41-key AVANI Les Berges Du Lac Tunis Suites will open in Les Berges du Lac II in the Tunisian capital, offering serviced apartment accommodation options ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments and lofts. There will also be a restaurant, health club and gym, two spa treatment rooms, sauna, steam rooms and an indoor swimming pool.
It will be followed by the 250-key AVANI Gammarth Tunis Resort & Spa, which is expected to open in 2021 in the beachfront Gammarth area of Tunis.
Alejandro Bernabe, vice president, AVANI Hotels & Resorts, said: “We are really excited to be bringing our dynamic AVANI brand to North Africa with the launch of these two properties in Tunis.
