Spain: Be Mate, Room Mate Group’s serviced apartment brand, is adding two new full management buildings in Madrid to its portfolio.
Be Mate MAD MT7 (named for the nearest airport code and the building’s street name) is close to the Gran Vía and has eight apartments as well as a rooftop space with a vertical garden. In the city’s Chamberi district, Be Mate MAD BG32 (located on Blasco de Garay 32) has 18 apartments with a rooftop lounge space and a co-living area.
“Be Mate was born out of being unconventional, of the desire to constantly challenge ourselves,” said Kike Sarasola, president of Room Mate Group. “Currently we have three full management serviced-apartment buildings in Madrid and these are just the first of the many new openings we will launch in the next few months all around the world.”
The company has 13 new projects opening in the next 18 months in Mexico City, Milan, Barcelona, Seville, Malaga and the Canary Islands.</p
