Germany: Brera Serviced Apartments is supporting the ASTRAIA Female Leadership foundation for the International Day of the Girl in October.
Brera says more than 4,000 girls are daily dying through avoidable illness, negligence, missing nutrition or violence; and more than 20 million girls worldwide do not own a birth certificate and have therefore no civil rights
The International Day of the Girl takes place on October 11th – Brera will donate five per cent of all revenue generated on the day in its three destinations to the ASTRAIA foundation.
Matteo Ghedini, CEO of Brera Serviced Apartments, said: “Not only because I see my daughter happily growing every day but also because I am aware that by far not every girl in the world has such a good life and I am convinced that access to education for more women is an essential part to reduce distress and misery in the world.
