US: The city council in Marietta, Georgia, has approved plans for the city’s first Comfort Suites extended stay hotel.
The developer for the project is Mac Kharat of Kingston Court LLC. With 55 rooms, the five-storey hotel will be built on 1.44 acres at 2164 Kingston Court, according to Marietta Development Services Department director Rusty Roth.
Next door at 2168 Kingston Court, a Home2 Suites by Hilton is under construction with 146 extended-stay rooms, also occupying the same acreage. These properties are near the interchange of Delk Road at I-75.
