Bahrain: Hollywood-themed serviced apartments will form part of a major real estate project which will open in Q2 2019.
The Waterbay West project by developer Bin Faqeeh in cooperation with Paramount Residencesare situated in Bahrain Bay, Manama, and will consist of three 10-storey towers.
The project was unveiled by Bin Faqeeh chairman Faisal Bin Faqeeh alongside Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) chief executive Shaikh Khalid bin Humood Al Khalifa. Also present at the event were American actor, producer and screenwriter Steven Seagal and Paramount Hotels and Resorts Chairman Ghassan Aridi.
“Paramount is a Hollywood concept so the whole design for the building will be totally different from the other normal buildings,” said Bin Faqeeh. “Hopefully, this particular idea will be changing the new look of buildings being built. We’re trying to open as soon as possible because Dubai still didn’t open any Paramount projects but they’re about ready. We’re taking it as a challenge to get the work done as soon as possible, and there is another Paramount project in Riyadh as well that still is not open.”
The towers will feature 200, 198 and 180 apartments respectively.
Shaikh Khalid said: “The tourism sector is increasing by a double-digit growth which is something that we should all be optimistic about. This specific project talks the language of the regional market where we actually do have a shortfall when it comes to the supply of serviced apartments in this category.”
