Netherlands: Cycas Hospitality has strengthened its teams in London, Amsterdam and France with six senior appointments, including the creation of two new job roles.
These include the appointment of two new members of Cycas‘s senior team at the company’s Amsterdam headquarters, as well as two within its development and acquisitions team. The new team members are:
• Lieven Werner joins as financial director. Based in Amsterdam, he is an experienced finance and operations executive with 19 years of experience working for InterContinental hotels group (IHG) across Europe and the Americas, most recently as VP finance and Business Support, Americas. In his role at Cycas, Werner will work to maximise hotel performance and deliver greater value to Cycas’s partners.
• Joseph Aminzadeh has joined senior director of development & acquisition. Before joining Cycas, he co-founded a series of successful hotel-related businesses across Africa; the most recent being Extrabold Hotel Management, where he served as executive chairman for seven years. He will be based in Amsterdam.
• Arthur Jaeger has joined as director of development in France, based in Paris. He brings more than 10 years of experience in the sector, most recently at Vinci Immobilier where he was responsible for sourcing opportunities across Western Europe and is well placed to help Cycas expand its presence in the French hospitality market.
• Neetu Ganesh has been appointed as commercial director, bringing nearly 15 years of experience in the sector. She joins from RBH Hotels (formerly Redefine BDL) where she was director of revenue. In her role at Cycas, she will be responsible for revenue, sales and marketing activity across Cycas’s European portfolio. She will be based in London.
• Rasmus Steen joins as director of information technology, bringing more than 15 years of financial and operational experience across the hospitality industry, including six years with Marriott International and 18 months as the director of finance at Belvar. He is based in Amsterdam.
• Philip Steiner joins as director of accommodation, overseeing the housekeeping and facilities functions across the Cycas hotel portfolio. He was previously responsible for the hotels sector of ISS Facility Services UK, where he managed the housekeeping and back-of-house services across 75 hotels and over 2,500 employees. He will be based in London.
