UK: As part of its 20th anniversary celebrations, London provider Flying Butler Apartments has partnered with homelessness charity Centrepoint.
Centrepoint provides homeless young people with accommodation, health support and life skills to get them back into education, training and employment.
Marie Kalsi, head of brand for Flying Butler said: “To help celebrate our 20 years as a pioneer in the UK serviced apartment industry we wanted to give something back to our local community. As a company that provides accommodation it was an obvious fit to work with Centrepoint to raise funds to help provide accommodation for these young homeless people.”
With the support of its partners, Centrepoint supports more than 10,000 young people a year and Flying Butler is proud to be one of those partners.
Flying Butler Apartments will be providing occasional accommodation for Centrepoint staff, who are sometimes required to travel to support their services across the country. The financial saving can then be used to directly support young people.
Flying Butler will also be doing various fundraising events throughout the year and the head office team will be attending Centrepoint’s annual Sleep Out event in November.
Nicholas Connolly, head of corporate development at Centrepoint, said: “Centrepoint are delighted to be partnering with Flying Butler and are really looking forward to working together to raise vital funds and awareness to tackle youth homelessness. We believe Flying Butler’s fundraising and cost-saving support will have a life-changing impact on the lives of homeless young people.”</p
