Singapore: Frasers Hospitality has named Alan Tang as chief operating officer.
Tang will be responsible for overseeing commercial operations with a key focus on developing the group’s business growth and expansion strategy.
He joins after 13 years GIC Real Estate, where he held the position of senior vice president, head of hospitality. At GIC he oversaw a multi-billion global hospitality real estate portfolio, and led the acquisition and asset management of global properties across multiple international brands including Shangri-La, Westin, Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, Ascott, Oakwood, InterContinental Hotel Group and Accor.
He has also held senior positions at Raffles Holding, where he was instrumental in leading the valuation of Raffles International Limited as part of the restructuring and IPO processes, and the Singapore Tourism Promotion Board.
