US: Furnished Quarters has announced the launch of FQ Select, its new “ultra luxury temporary apartment offering”.
The company says FQ Select “provides bespoke corporate housing that allows guests to choose their preferred neighbourhood, apartment size and amenities. FQ Select is unique to the industry, as no other corporate housing company currently provides customizable short-term apartments tailored to the highest end of the market. The new service is now available in New York City”.
Ken Brown, global solutions manager for Furnished Quarters, said: “We’ve received ongoing client requests for apartments with greater square footage and loft-like interiors in New York’s newest, most exclusive buildings. These requests have been extremely challenging for most corporate housing providers. But in 2014, Furnished Quarters began fulfilling these reservations and received rave reviews from our clients-so we have now formalised the business as FQ Select.”
A company statement said: “FQ Select differs from typical corporate apartment offerings in several ways. The residences are customised for the most discerning guests by Furnished Quarters’ in-house design team, often sourced and created with the tastes and lifestyle of the individual residents in mind. The apartments are also outside of Furnished Quarters’ standard portfolio of buildings. Elements that can be tailored to meet the specifications of FQ Select clients include handcrafted furnishings, chef’s kitchens with premium appliances, high-end electronics, open floorplans, number of bedrooms, and oversized windows.”
Rental prices for the apartments range from $20,000 to $50,000 per month and require a three-month minimum stay.
