UK: US apartment provider Furnished Quarters has opened a service centre in London’s Mayfair neighbourhood to provide 24/7 support for its guests staying in the EMEA region.
Diego Dutra, formerly of Q Apartments International, is Furnished Quarters‘ first UK-based employee. He will be responsible for guest services across Furnished Quarters’ EMEA apartments.
Steve Brown, CEO of Furnished Quarters, said: “We’ve always had clients with needs in Europe, but this past year we are managing more global corporate housing programs than ever before. Adding a London home base enables us to provide the best service to our guests in time zones not easily staffed from the US.”
Furnished Quarters says it continues to “maintain strong relationships with its UK strategic serviced apartment providers and does not see that changing in any way”. The new office and staff members will ensure a smooth transition for clients and guests staying in both partner and Furnished Quarters-managed apartments.
“More Fortune 500 companies are moving toward singular, centralised corporate housing programs, and often prefer to work with one corporate housing provider for all of their serviced apartment needs,” said Craig Partin, chief sales officer at Furnished Quarters. “We have, in many cases, become the lead provider, and so we very much value our supplier partners. We will be working hand-in-hand with them to deliver a stellar guest experience.”
Furnished Quarters is the largest independently owned and operated supplier of global temporary housing, offering more than 100,000 fully furnished apartments in more than 800 cities around the world. The company, established in 1998 in New York City by brothers Steven and Gary Brown, currently serves more than 5,500 clients.</p
