US: Furnished Quarters has appointed Anna Gaffney as director of sales for Q&A, its NYC aparthotel.
Gaffney will assume her role immediately in preparation for Q&A’s opening in autumn 2015 at the 70 Pine building in Manhattan’s Financial District.
Gaffney joins the Q&A team with extensive experience in the hospitality industry, including sales, revenue, and financial management as well as operations and guest satisfaction. She most recently served as business development manager for Choice Hotels in New York, and prior to that was general manager and director of sales at The Verb Hotel in Boston, responsible for all sales and operations.
She has also held sales management roles at the Hyatt Place Midtown, Holiday Inn Midtown, and The Gotham Hotel in Manhattan; and Crescent Hotels and Resorts.
