China: Little Tai Hang, a “design-centric hotel and serviced apartments” will open in Hong Kong on March 27.
Set in the neighbourhood of Tai Hang the property offers “a neighbourhood lifestyle choice complete with local cuisine, living and design brands under one roof – a truly modern Hong Kong cultural experience”.
“We are thrilled to announce the opening of Little Tai Hang, and to offer guests genuine experiences in the real Hong Kong. As a Hong Konger myself, I am excited about what the city has to offer, and so we designed Little Tai Hang to bring Hong Kong’s unique modern culture into the living space while providing an upscale experience for business and leisure travellers alike. Sophisticated yet down to earth, quiet yet in the heart of the city. These contrasts bring an edge to the property that we hope appeals to those looking for something off the beaten track yet totally accessible,” said Tommy Watari Pao, the founder of Little Tai Hang.
The property is purpose-built and features a fitness room, lounge, laundry room, function room, and daily concierge service. 82 of the 91 rooms in the first phase will have views across Victoria Park and Hong Kong Harbour, with the rest overlooking the Lin Fa Kung Temple and mountains to the south.
Little Tai Hang has two F&B concepts. Second Draft, “a convivial neighbourhood gastropub”, and Restaurant BOND by the Three Monkeys which “serves comfort fare designed to share in a casual, welcoming hang-out for family and friends to gather”.</p
