UK: During August, Thames Valley apartment provider House of Fisher will be supporting The Fire Fighters Charity.

The company says: “Whilst we have always had great admiration for the amazing efforts from the fire department, witnessing the heroic, self-sacrificing activities during the tragic Grenfell Tower incident recently touched us to support this organisation and further highlight their fantastic work.”

“With almost 200 apartments within the Thames Valley area, we work closely with The Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS)/Hampshire Fire and Rescue. They maintain close ties to the local community and provide us with knowledgeable advice ensuring we maintain the best practises for the safety of our guests. Inevitably there have been incidents involving our guests over the years at a few locations, which the Fire and Rescue Service have provided quick and valuable support to resolve,” it added.

The Fire Fighters Charity has been established for 74 years, originally being set up during World War II. Throughout its history and to this day it provides firefighters with with support for injuries, illness and psychological challenges. Amongst the work undertaken, the charity provides counselling, support, therapies, rehabilitation, nursing and recuperation services.

Everyone booking with House of Fisher throughout August will have the option of donating to The Fire Fighters Charity. On the company website there is the option of contributing an addition £1, £5, £10 or a custom donation to all bookings. If booking over the phone or on email, the reservations team can add a donation to the order and will include this on the returning secure payment link.

House of Fisher will then match all donations during this month, doubling the amount raised.</p
