Lamson takes development role at Adagio

France: Aparthotels Adagio has appointed Thomas Lamson as director of development and programs.

He joins from JLL Hotels & Hospitality where he spent more than six years as director of transactions for France, Switzerland and Belgium.

After beginning his career at Libertel, he turned to consulting by taking charge of the international department of a hotel and tourism consulting company, carrying out projects in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Caribbean. Subsequently, he conducted assessments and transactions across continental Europe for CBRE Hotels. He joined Christie + Co in 2004 to head the French subsidiary as managing director and successfully developed the team and the network.

In total, Lamson has nearly 20 years of experience in operational hospitality, consulting and transactions, providing a solid understanding of the industry in all segments and categories.

He said: “I am extremely pleased and proud to join Adagio as director of development and programs. With the recent implementation of the new concept The Circle, Adagio confirms its leading position in the aparthotels market in Europe. Within this brand extremely well positioned in France, I will have the mission to accelerate the development of the network in Europe, supported by a strong and experienced team. An exciting new page will open in 2018 and is already set to be a reference year in terms of openings.”
