UK: Following news of an opening in Aldgate, Locke have announced a new property near Tower Bridge.

Broken Wharf, Locke’s newest property, is set to accept reservations from March 2020.

Locke’s business hopes to take the aparthotel model and bring elements of the high-end lifestyle hotel. Its dynamic space includes an all day restaurant, bar facilities, and a co-working area.

The group hopes to provide a mind-expanding cultural program alongside all of this, keeping extended stay visitors engaged with their stay. The customer focused approach hopes to provide a full living experience for its visitors, tailoring the experience to the needs of a possible visitors.

The building was designed by local firm Grzywinski+Pons, with each of the 113 individual studios being uniquely designed, including custom furniture. Matthew Grzywinski, lead designer said: “throughout the property I played with a little matte/gloss tension, employing the aspirational bling of chrome, smoked glass and polished copper softened by the warmth and enveloping tactility of timber, cane and butterscotch upholstery.”

Each room aims for a blend of modernity and warmth, with full-sized high spec kitchens and generous room sizing creating the feeling of freedom for visitors. With views of the Thames and the Tate Modern, and a short walk from Blackfriars and Cannon Street station, the property provides great access to the rest of the city.

Locke is a part of Aparthotel group Edyn, formerly known as Saco (The Serviced Apartment Company). After the rebranding, the group has signed new deals in Copenhagen, and plan two more London openings before the end of the year.

Reservations start at £135 per night. Read on for more information here. </p
