UK: The Hy Hotel has opened in Lytham St Annes, following a £4 million investment by its owners.

The property features 35 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments with 24-hour concierge services, and leisure facilities including Technogym fitness equipment, a pool, sauna and a steam room.

A celebrity-chef branded restaurant and spa are set to open later this year, with an onsite hub featuring Starbucks coffee.

The hotel was previously The Ashton Park Hotel, which closed in 2018, and it was also known locally as The Langdales Hotel.

Its reopening has created 20 jobs. The property is operated by Black & White Hospitality Management, and overseen by Dan and Julia Yates.

Marian Stefanik, general manager said: “This new aparthotel concept combines the space and freedom of a self-catering apartment but with the benefits of a 24-hour concierge team that will be on hand to sort out any requests, whatever the time of day. The new Hy Hotel works across a host of different levels. It’s perfect for golfing parties looking for somewhere to stay when playing at Royal Lytham & St Annes which is just around the corner or those visiting Blackpool. With stunning sandy beaches, Victorian pier, green parks, boating lake, artisan shops and a world class Royal golf course, this part of the UK really does have a lot to offer.”
