France: Hospitality group Barrière will open the five-star Maison Barrière Vendôme in Paris early next year.
Maison Barrière Vendôme, located between Vendôme and the Tuileries Gardens, is housed in a redesigned private mansion owned by Corinne Evens.
The seven-storey, 26-key property offers 10 hotel rooms and 16 apartments designed by Daniel Jibert. Each room pays tribute to iconic women such as the French novelist George Sand and French actress Sarah Bernhardt. The larger suites allow guests to host private dinners.
Located on the first floor, the bar-restaurant Frida will serve a South American-inspired menu. The 20-seater venue opens onto a secret garden – a tree-lined patio seating an additional 20.
The mansion’s cellars will soon unveil a spa with treatment rooms, a sauna, and cold plunge pool.
Maison Barrière Vendôme joins Fouquet’s Paris in the city, alongside additional global properties located in France, Morocco, the Caribbean and the United States. According to the Barrière website, its portfolio spans 19 hotels and resorts.
Barrière Groupe’s wider hospitality assets includes 33 casinos, 150 restaurants and bars, three golf courses, two tennis clubs, and 15 spas.
