UK: Serviced apartment owner/operator Mansley has appointed Lorraine Feeney as its first quality manager.

Reporting to commercial director Colin Stone, she will devise and establish the company’s quality procedures, standards and specifications.

Her other responsibilities will include monitoring performance, making sure guest requirements are met, working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers, and setting health and safety standards.

She will be based in Edinburgh but also work across Mansley‘s other properties in London, Cheltenham and Inverness.

“In order for us to maintain and enhance our recent expansion we need to continually improve to stay ahead of our competitors in  upmarket self-catering serviced accommodation,” said Stone. “Lorraine has a key role to play in this, recommending and implementing improvements and assessing the effectiveness of changes made, and helping make sure all staff are constantly aware of the paramount importance of quality.”

Before joining Mansley, Feeney spent 10 years as a vocational qualifications assessor and verifier.
