UK: Marlin Apartments has been ranked in the top 25 of the Best Places to Work in Hospitality 2016 awards by The Caterer magazine.
Based on the opinions of more than 80 per cent of employees in a survey, Marlin was ranked at the 24th place in the awards. It is also the only serviced apartment provider making it into the top 25 of the list.
Marlin was applauded for is its Open Hour initiative. Introduced this year, the 90-minute weekly session is designed to foster communication between senior management and employees, giving staff the opportunity to openly discuss any concerns and questions with the managing director and other senior managers.
Other employee scheme include Development Track, which allow employees to explore their interests and strengths through cross-training in different departments of the company, as well as subsidised gym memberships and free fresh fruit as a company-wide health initiative.
