MCR acquires Philadelphia Residence Inn property

US: MCR, the sixth-largest hotel owner-operator in the United States has acquired the 100-suite Residence Inn by Marriott Philadelphia Langhorne.

The property is located less than a mile from the Sesame Place theme park and features a convenience store, a heated indoor pool and a whirlpool spa, 24-hour fitness centre with cardio equipment and free weights, a 24-hour business centre and on-site laundry service.

The extended stay hotel’s leadership team is led by Nick Katsikis, regional director of operations; general manager Scott Fisher and director of sales Amanda Bray.

MCR has invested in and developed 104 hotel properties with more than 12,000 rooms in 27 states. MCR’s hotels are operated under 11 brands. The firm has offices in New York City and Dallas.
