Thailand: Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts has partners with developer Nusasiri Plc to launch a serviced apartment development.
The Swiss hotel management company will open Mövenpick Residences Ekkamai, in Bangkok, in Q4 2016. It will also operate two hotels in Thailand by the same developer.
“We are thrilled today to sign an agreement with such a distinguished developer and to increase our properties under Mövenpick management in Thailand,” said Andrew Langdon, Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts senior vice president Asia. “This is our second property in Bangkok and the debut of our exclusive serviced apartment brand, Mövenpick Residences.”
Mövenpick Residences Ekkamai will consist of 160 residences – serviced apartments of one-, two- and three-bedrooms – featuring an all-day dining restaurant, lobby lounge and rooftop lounge and bar. Other facilities include a meeting space, swimming pool and fitness centre.
