UAE: The InterContinental Residence Suites in Dubai’s Festival City has completed multi-million dollar refurbishment which includes the addition of 52 units.
The refurbishment is aimed at capitalising on the the region’s growing extended stay market, and is aimed at business travellers.
The new suites were designed by award winning interior design company MAZARAKI – FBK and have been under construction since last year.
InterContinental Residence Suites area general manager Mathieu van Alphen, said the rooms are designed to fit “the sophisticated needs” of the modern day traveller: “The extended stay market is growing year on year and we now have a unique opportunity to capitalise on this with 52 additional units.”
IHG added that the move also meets demand from the Saudi Arabian and the UAE markets for serviced apartment units.
