US: Extended stay hotel brand My Place Hotels has been ranked 1483 in Inc. Magazine’s its 37th annual Inc. 5000, a ranking of the fastest-growing companies in the US.
Achieving three-year growth of 317 per cent in revenue, My Place also earned Inc. 5000 honours as a top growing company in the burgeoning travel and hospitality industry, as well as in South Dakota, home of its corporate headquarters.
“The inclusion of our company in the 2018 Inc. 5000 list serves as a testament to the tremendous work our team continues to dedicate to our culture, relationships and development,” said president and CEO, Ryan Rivett. “As a result, this tangible momentum shows no signs of letting up in the foreseeable future, which is very exciting. As we move the needle above and beyond 100 franchises in the near term, my sense is that the best is truly yet to come.”
The 2018 list is ranked according to percentage growth when comparing 2014 and 2018. Since launching its franchise system in 2014, My Place has grown a pipeline of more than 120 hotels with over 60 per cent of franchisees executing multiple agreements.
“If your company is on the Inc. 5000, it’s unparalleled recognition of your years of hard work and sacrifice,” said Inc. editor-in-chief James Ledbetter. “The lines of business may come and go or come and stay. What doesn’t change is the way entrepreneurs create and accelerate the forces that shape our lives.”
My Place Hotels currently has 43 hotels open and operating across 21 states with a near-term pipeline of 75 additional hotels and mid-term commitments for upwards of 40 more hotels to follow.</p
