US: Extended-stay hotel franchisor My Place Hotels of America has opened its latest property in Idaho, marking the seventieth addition to the portfolio.

My Place Hotels-Idaho Falls has been developed by Legacy Builders and will be operated by Guard Hospitality.

The 64-key property is pet-friendly and features amenities such as onsite laundry, a grilling station, and a 24-hour grab-and-go store. All rooms come with a full kitchen and coffee maker.

My Place Hotels-Idaho Falls is also the official hotel partner of the Idaho Falls Spud Kings, one of the new franchises in the United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL)’s Tier 3 Mountain Division. The property is located close to Mountain America Center, where the Spud Kings play.

“We were very excited to see My Place Hotels-Idaho Falls officially open its doors at the end of 2023,” stated Ryan Rivett, co-founder and CEO of My Place Hotels. “This property boasts an incredible location, and we are confident that our robust offerings will distinguish us in this dynamic market. As we look forward to additional openings in 2024, we are eager to leverage our momentum to expand our presence with a focus on strategic growth.”

The company is based in Aberdeen, South Dakota, and offers two hotel brand options to potential and current franchisees. There are currently 70 My Place Hotels open across 29 states with over 120 hotels in the pipeline.
