Australia: Oaks Hotels & Resorts, a division of Minor Hotel Group, has added Oaks Woolloongabba in Brisbane to its portfolio.
The opening takes Oaks Hotels & Resorts‘ Brisbane inventory to more than 1,400 guest rooms across 10 properties, and more than 6,000 in total across Australia, New Zealand, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates.
The new-build Oaks Woolloongabba – developed by local Brisbane group Majella is on the fringe of the CBD in Brisbane’s inner south.
Costing an estimated $47 million to build, the 80-key serviced apartment tower features one- and two-bedroom apartments featuring contemporary décor, large living and dining areas, spacious kitchens with stainless steel appliances, laundry facilities, study nooks and private balconies.
Leisure facilities including a 20 metre, three-lane rooftop lap pool surrounded by timber sun loungers, barbeque facilities, two spas and a steam room.
