UK: Newcastle serviced apartment provider Week2Week has seen a rise in bookings since introducing one-night stays at its properties.

Within a week of offering one-night stays, primarily for transient business travellers as an alternative to hotel stays, the company has announced a 40 per cent rise in bookings.

Week2Week director Claire Parry said: “We started offering the one-night stays as we know business never stands still. Now more than ever, business travellers are on the move, from city to city so it made sense to us to offer one night stays. With the rise of young professionals and millennials, they want the home comforts even when they’re on the road and with a hotel they don’t get that. So I can really see why it’s been a success early on.”

“To stay ahead of the game you need to stay up to date with the trends and I think at Week2Week, we do a good job of that. It lets us know where we can go as a business, but it can also allow us to adapt our services to active changes in the market,” she added.</p
