Australia: Quest has opened a property at Joondalup, in northern Perth, its 14th location in Western Australia.

Situated on Boas Avenue, Quest Joondalup features 90 serviced apartments with fully equipped kitchens and laundry facilities.

Quest General manager – growth, James Shields, said the hotel was designed to service business travellers in the region.

“More than 200,000 people will move into Perth’s northern metropolitan area over the next 20 years, increasing the demand for serviced accommodation,” he said. “The Western Australian Government has listed Joondalup as a major driver for economic growth, so we’re pleased to support the commercial environment with our premium offering.”

Joondalup Mayor Albert Jacob said: “The presence of an established and respected brand like Quest will bring more people into Joondalup, adding to its vibrancy and vitality and further enhancing its reputation as a highly liveable and vibrant civic and cultural destination. The City has been very active in promoting and facilitating development in our City Centre under the mantra of we are open for business. More developments like Quest and the under-construction Arthouse apartments will positively impact the economic landscape, increase our already impressive employment self-sufficiency rates and move us closer to achieving our aspiration of being the capital City of Perth’s northern growth corridor – one of Australia’s fastest growing regions.”

Quest Joondalup is one of 12 new Quest properties scheduled to open across Australia and New Zealand over the next two years.
