Singapore: Frasers Property’s Rivière development will include a new-build four-storey block of 80 serviced apartments
The development, located on the former site of Zouk nightclub at Jiak Kim Street, is on the bend of the historic Singapore River. Each of the 455 units in has an unobstructed view of the river, according to Christopher Tang, CEO of Frasers Property Singapore.
Designed by Chan Soo Khian, principal of SCDA Architects, Rivière has two 36-storey residential towers which are raised six storeys (about 18 metres) above ground level. A Sky Deck on the 37th floor will feature a teppanyaki dining pavilion, herb garden, hot spa, and offer residents 360-degree panoramic views of the Singapore River and the city skyline.
The 145,109 square foot, 99-year leasehold site will also contain the three conserved warehouses that used to house Zouk and a new-build, four-storey block that will house 80 serviced apartments. The warehouses will be converted for commercial uses. These will include a range of communal facilities for the serviced apartment residents, F&B outlets and retail.
Rivière is located within a three- to four-minute walk to two upcoming MRT stations, namely Great World and Havelock on the Thomson-East Coast Line.</p
