UK: SACO (The Serviced Apartment Company) has been shortlisted in the Business Travel Awards 2015 for the Best Serviced Apartment Provider category.
Over the last year, SACO, which won the 2014 award in January, has increased its apartment offering by over 15 per cent including a 63-unit aparthotel in Manchester and 70 units in London and Birmingham.
In addition, 30 new partner locations were sourced to meet specific client requirements from Zug to Valencia, Krakow to Tel Aviv and Nigeria to Boston.
It also had six aparthotel locations graded and assessed by Quality in Tourism, the independent regulatory body which carries out assessments on accommodation across the UK on behalf of Visit Britain. All of these properties achieved Four Star status and four of the six also received Gold Star status.
SACO has also focused on creating and offering a variety of methods to request and book serviced apartments tailored to buyers’ needs, including a corporate portal, and increased distribution via platforms such as Booking.com, Late Rooms, Expedia and AirBnB.
