US: Furnished Quarters has appointed Amy Scherer-Ramskill as regional director of business development.
Based in Southern California, she will represent Furnished Quarters‘ East Coast corporate housing solutions to customers located in the Western United States.
“We look forward to supporting our West Coast customers with an on-the-ground representative,” said Craig Partin, chief sales officer at Furnished Quarters. “The goal is to streamline the corporate housing booking process and ensure cost savings through our local partnerships and total program management.”
“Amy will be the West Coast face of the company,” said Steve Brown, CEO of Furnished Quarters. “As many West Coast companies expand into New York City and other locales, the need to have an in-person point of contact became apparent.”
Previously at Synergy Global Housing, Scherer-Ramskill has more than 25 years of hospitality sales experience with expertise in convention and tourism, hotels, corporate housing, relocation, real estate, and property management.
Furnished Quarters says it will now be able to provide its West Coast clients with sales staff in the same time zone, simplifying access to housing inventory and pricing. “This also supports Furnished Quarters’ expansion of its Global Solutions program, which provides clients the ability to fulfil corporate housing requests globally with one partner,” it says.</p
