UK: Plans have been submitted to convert an 18th century building on Derby’s Friar Gate into serviced apartments.
Number 62 Friar Gate,a former office building, is grade II-listed and is currently vacant. If approved the proposals from developer Manjas Lidder, will see the upper floors of the building will converted into three serviced apartments.
A statement prepared by planning comsultant Gaskell said the properties could be used by large employers in Derby to provide additional staff accommodation, as well as providing space for those who require short-term housing.
The application is under consideration by planners from Derby City Council.</p
