UK: Serviced apartment operator Skyline is the main sponsor for Enzo Fittipaldi in the 2016 Ginetta Junior Championship.

Fittipaldi, the 14-year old grandson of Formula 1 legend Emerson Fittipaldi, is competing in the UK’s highest profile event for aspiring young motorsport drivers. He began racing competitively at just four, and is now a rising star in the junior motorsport field, with 34 victories and 21 pole positions. He has distinguished himself in tournaments such as the US Grand Nationals and the Rotax Panam, and also has Nascar experience. He hopes to follow his grandfather’s legacy by racing in Formula 1 and at Le Mans. This will be his first attempt at the Ginetta Junior Championship.

The only tournament of its kind in the world, the Ginetta G40 Junior Championship is a one-make racing series for drivers aged between 14 and 17. The cars use 1.8 litre Ford Zetec engines and comply with or exceed all FIA safety requirements. The competition takes place over ten weekends at various iconic British racing circuits.

Skyline CEO Thiago Hahn said: “Skyline is proud to announce its sponsorship of Enzo Fittipaldi for the 2016 racing season. This partnership with Enzo is a natural fit for Skyline as he and we share similar values, are both competitive, willing to push boundaries and enjoy a challenge. As a maverick young driver, Enzo is fresh and eager to take on the world, yet, also like Skyline, he already has years of experience. He wants to be the best in his field, and so does Skyline. We wish this dynamic young man every success as he continues to develop his racing career.”

The Skyline logo will be featured prominently on Enzo’s racing suit, helmet and vehicle. The resultant exposure will give a further boost to the company’s reputation and further raise its profile as one of the world’s foremost serviced apartment providers.
