UK: Dublin-based Staycity Aparthotels is to open three properties in Manchester over the next four years.
The company, which already operates aparthotel properties in Laystall Street and Manchester Piccadilly, will open a 224-unit premises in Manchester’s Northern Quarter at the end of 2019, a 256-unit property on St Peter’s Square towards the end of 2020, and a 305-unit property on Deansgate in early 2021.
The St Peter’s Square development will be a Wilde Aparthotels by Staycity property, the company’s new design-led offer. The first Wilde property is opening on London’s Strand on March 12.
Staycity has a current estate (pipeline and operating) of more than 4,500 apartments and says it is on target to achieve its stated aim of 15,000 apartments by 2022.
