Vietnam: Swiss-Belhotel International is set to open Swiss-Belhotel Suites & Residences Ha Long Bay in Q4 of this year.

The opening is part of a push by the company to grow its Vietnamese portfolio from one property to 10 by 2021.

Swiss-Belhotel Suites & Residences Ha Long Bay will overlook north-east Vietnam’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed seascape. The new-build property will feature 350 apartments for short and long stays, plus facilities including a spa, fitness centre, swimming pools, multiple F&B outlets, a ballroom and meeting rooms.

The company is also pursuing leads in diverse destinations, including major cities such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Haiphong and Danang; beachfront locations like Phu Quoc, Quy Nhon and Van Phong; and cultural sites such as Sapa and Hoi An.

“With its beautiful natural scenery, long coastline and captivating culture, Vietnam is an extremely attractive destination. Swiss-Belhotel International sees significant potential all over the country, not only in its beachfront locations but also in its dynamic cities and heritage centres. We look forward to working with local developers to bring Swiss-Belhotel International’s world-class hospitality to guests in vibrant Vietnam,” said Gavin M. Faull, chairman and president of Swiss-Belhotel International.

Swiss-Belhotel International operates a global portfolio of almost 150 hotels, resorts and residences on four continents. The company also offers a collection of 14 brands, ranging from budget and boutique hotels to luxury resorts and serviced residences.</p
