UK: Union Bank, a serviced apartment development on Liverpool’s Fenwick Street is set to open its doors.

Halifax House, a 200-year-old former bank building, has been converted in to 26 serviced apartments, ranging from studio to two-bedroom units.

General manager Zoe Doran and head of operations Ross Lancaster have overseen the conversion.

Each of the apartments features flat screen TVs and jacuzzi baths, with each room individually designed around one of four themes – including a ‘city’ theme and a ‘nature’ theme.

Doran said: “When people come and stay with us, we really want them to think ‘wow I want to live somewhere with luxury like this,’ it’s all about the luxury aspect. We think we’ve got a perfect location – it’s close to everything, including Castle Street which is really up-and-coming, as well as the business district for any business customers.”

“It’s such a great building, the ceillings are really high and there’s lots of natural light, and no two rooms are the same. We’ve given a little nod to the building’s history as a bank and created a vault theme for some of the room,” she added.
