Switzerland: Vision Apartments has announced plans for new projects and confirmed the opening dates for three others.
The company is taking over a hotel in Zug’s city centre, which it will convert in to 54 fully-equipped apartments for medium to long-term stays. It will open in autumn 2017.
Vision has also purchased a plot close to Zurich airport. On completion in 2019, it will be a serviced apartment building with more than 300 residential units. As the planning and development phase will take some time, the empty factory building on the site is available for intermediate use.
The company has also confirmed three other openings in autumn 2017. In September, the first tenants will be welcomed in Frankfurt (130 units) and in Vevey (100 units). Two months later, the doors in Lausanne St. Sulpice (60 units) will open, further expanding the presence in Lausanne. Projects in Vienna (90 units, opening in 2018) and Basel (123 units, opening in 2019) are also on schedule.
“We are delighted with the continuous growth and proud that we will succeed in doubling our own portfolio by 2018 as announced last year,” said Anja Graf, CEO of Vision Apartments. “In future, we will continue to pursue a strong expansion strategy and are constantly assessing new projects, especially in the German-speaking and Anglo-Saxon regions.”</p
