US: The WaterWalk brand, which joined Wyndham’s extended stay portfolio earlier this year, has launched its management arm WaterWalk Hospitality.
Writing on LinkedIn, Mimi Oliver, the CEO of WaterWalk Extended Stay by Wyndham, revealed news of the brand’s launch into hotel management.
Oliver said: “With the support of Wyndham, we are now able to shift our focus more closely to what truly drives our success — performance. This is where WaterWalk Hospitality comes in… we can now dedicate our efforts to enhancing hotel performance, ensuring that every WaterWalk property continues to operate at its highest potential.
“This strategic shift allows us to be closer to the day-to-day operations of our hotels, enabling us to respond more quickly to challenges, seize opportunities, and implement best practices across our portfolio. Our knowledge in understanding the true extended stay guest coupled with our experience as property owners gives us a distinct advantage as we move forward. We are committed to providing our team members with the tools, support, and guidance they need to succeed, ensuring that every WaterWalk property delivers the exceptional service and quality that our guests expect.
“This new direction will not only strengthen the WaterWalk brand but will also open new opportunities for growth and success. As we embark on this journey, we are excited about the possibilities ahead and are committed to working closely with our properties to achieve our shared goals,” she added.
In April this year, WaterWalk announced a strategic partnership with Wyndham, joining its extended stay portfolio alongside ECHO Suites and Hawthorn Suites.
The following month, Oliver was recognised at the 2024 Serviced Apartment Awards as SAN’s Outstanding Achievement winner.
