UK: Independent serviced apartment and aparthotel company Your Apartment has opened The Cotham Arms Apartments in Bristol, housed in a former pub.
The building, formerly The Cotham Arms pub, has been transformed into studio and one-bedroom apartments for short-term corporate travel and leisure stays.
Each unit features open-plan living and dining spaces, kitchenettes with a dishwasher, induction hob, microwave and oven, Nespresso coffee machines and SMEG toaster, and Hypnos beds.
A communal laundry room is also available, and guests can receive exclusive discounts at nearby gyms, restaurants, and grocery delivery services.
The Cotham Arms Apartments joins four other aparthotels located in Bristol and London.
Co-founder of Your Apartment, Toby Guest, said: “Independent British pubs have had a really rough ride in recent years with ever-growing running costs, staffing & skills shortages, the price of beer, wine and even soft drinks reaching record highs, the list goes on and on. While it is unfortunate that The Cotham Arms has been through this period, fortunately it has been granted a ray of light at the end of the tunnel.
“The overall transformation of The Cotham Arms into a one-of-a-kind boutique collection of serviced apartments demonstrates the opportunities available to publicans, landlords and developers around the UK.”
