Spain/France: Spanish operator Líbere Hospitality Group (LHG) has signed its first French property, marking its entry into the market with an asset-light accommodation project in Paris, set to open in early 2026.
The property, located in Paris’s 8th arrondissement, will operate under a long-term agreement with property owner RedBlue. Situated at 3 Rue du Havre, between Opéra and Saint-Lazare stations, the building currently comprises 12 units accommodating up to 50 guests, with plans to expand capacity to 19 units following renovation.
The Paris opening forms part of LHG’s wider pan-European expansion strategy and follows the group’s growth across Spain, the UK, Italy, Portugal and Greece. LHG operates an asset-light model, managing entire buildings through management and long-term lease agreements rather than owning real estate.
The operator said the project reflects growing demand for flexible, self-contained urban accommodation, particularly in mature and highly regulated markets. LHG’s operating model is supported by proprietary technology, including digital check-in, keyless access, revenue management and guest service tools.
Founded in 2019, Líbere Hospitality Group currently operates around 1,000 units across Europe and has a development pipeline of approximately 2,300 units.
Antón de la Rica, co-chief executive of Líbere Hospitality Group, said the Paris launch represents a significant milestone for the business.
“Establishing ourselves in one of Europe’s most competitive markets reinforces our pan-European strategy and demonstrates the scalability of our asset-light model,” he said.
Amaury Painvin, head of business development in France at LHG, added that France represents a key market in the group’s international roadmap.
