Saudi Arabia: Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR) has partnered with real estate developer and operator Dedicated Housing Company (DHC) to develop a hospitality-inspired residential community in Riyadh, targeting both short- and long-term stays.
The project will be located next to the East Network railway station and metro hub in the Al Malaz district. It will comprise more than 450 serviced residential units across two adjacent plots spanning approximately 13,000 square metres, providing over 1,600 beds.
Designed to cater to professionals, business travellers and intercity commuters, the development will include fully furnished suites, studio apartments and shared serviced units. Amenities will include co-working spaces, shared kitchens, laundry facilities, fitness areas and communal recreational spaces.
SAR said the project supports Riyadh’s wider transit-oriented development strategy by integrating residential accommodation with rail and metro infrastructure.
The scheme will be delivered by DHC, a joint venture between Majd Investment, Sumou Global Investment and Strategic Housing Group. Operations will be managed by URBN Living, with completion expected within 36 months.
