US: The Rivett Organization has appointed Brian Quinn as chief development officer (CDO), a newly created leadership role for its affiliated companies, led by its flagship brand, My Place Hotels of America.
As CDO, Quinn will be in charge of growth initiatives across The Rivett Organization’s affiliated companies spanning development, construction, and management while overseeing franchise expansion and development for My Place Hotels of America.
With more than 25 years of experience, Quinn has led growth across large-scale, multi-platform organisations. He has held senior leadership roles at IHG, Hilton, Choice Hotels, and Sonesta, where he was chief development officer. He has served as secretary/treasurer of the American Hotel & Lodging Association Foundation, and currently advises Penn State’s School of Hospitality Management.

My Place Hotels intends to expand its pipeline of over 125 hotels and its foothold in 32 states.
