US: Hotel management company Newport Hospitality Group has been appointed to manage the Hilton Garden Inn Columbus Easton and Homewood Suites Columbus Easton in Ohio, supporting extended-stay and corporate demand in the market.
The dual-brand property is owned by Middletown Hotel Management and the Bhatnagar family and is located adjacent to Easton Town Center in Columbus. Newport Hospitality Group will oversee operations across both hotels, including revenue management, pricing strategy, direct sales and digital marketing.
Wayne West III, president at Newport Hospitality Group, said Columbus is a high-growth market with year-round demand, adding that the company aims to strengthen performance through operational discipline and service delivery.
The two hotels opened in December 2021 and comprise a total of 240 guestrooms, including 144 rooms at Hilton Garden Inn Columbus Easton and 96 suites at Homewood Suites Columbus Easton.
The appointment increases Newport Hospitality Group’s Hilton-managed portfolio to 14 hotels. The Homewood Suites brand is positioned in the extended-stay segment, catering to longer-stay guests including project teams, relocating professionals and families.
The Easton Town Center location provides access to business, retail and dining amenities, supporting demand from both short-stay and extended-stay travellers.
