Australia: TFE Hotels has opened its first Adina aparthotel in Tasmania, located within a mixed-use development in Hobart’s CBD.
Adina Hobart offers 48 studios, one, and two-bedroom apartments, with selected rooms able to interconnect as a three-bedroom configuration. Apartments include fully equipped kitchens with spaces for working and relaxing.
The property is owned by Raadas Investments Pty Ltd. The interiors were designed by Clifford Rip of Suede Interior Design in collaboration with the Raadas and Ian Murray from TFE Hotels’ technical services, with Chroma Group appointed as builder.
Raadas managing director Richard Doedens said: “Our goal was to create a hotel that feels intrinsically connected to Tasmania. The palette, textures and organic forms all draw from the quiet beauty of the eucalypt forests that define so much of the state’s landscape.”
Adina Hobart is located in the same mixed-use development as the 142-key Vibe Hobart. Adina guests will also have access to Vibe’s restaurant and bar, conferencing facilities, a pool, and a gym.
Jamie Capp, general manager of Adina Hobart, said: “Apartment-style stays are increasingly important to the visitor economy because they encourage extended travel and support local operators. With both Adina and Vibe now in Hobart, we’re offering travellers more choice, whether they’re here for business, culture, or nature.”
