Germany: Tech-forward serviced apartment operator Bob W has signed a long-term lease for a property in Munich city centre.

The former Aparthotel Adagio Munich City now transfers into Finnish hands as part of Bob W’s recent German expansion. Munich City Centre will offer 118 fully-serviced flats across 5,800 square metres. The property includes studio and one-bedroom units, each with a kitchenette.

Bob W Munich City Centre is expected to open in May 2026 after a phased transition. It marks Bob W’s sixth location in Munich, and its fourth in Germany since early last year.

“Munich is one of Europe’s most competitive hospitality markets, so securing a flagship asset in the city centre is a significant milestone for us,” Bob W CEO Niko Karstikko said. “What makes this project particularly exciting is the speed and adaptability of our model. We’re able to take on an existing operating asset, bring it into the Bob W platform quickly, and enhance it in stages, minimising downtime while maximising long-term value.”

The transaction was brokered by BNP Paribas Real Estate, led by Francesco Mazza.
